CORPORATE CONTROL SYSTEM

This system contains the elements that make work team to reach their objectives, according to our goal of generating CONNECTIONS THAT INSPIRE.

Control Environment

This involves the principles and integrity that guide us, the ethical values that we have implemented, and the skills of our employees.

The way we delegate authority, responsibilities, and the philosophy of risk management in our company. Our Board of Directors, Audit Committee, Code of Ethics, Code of Good Governance, higher purpose, policies, and other documents and guidelines that are relevant for our organization to influence our control consciousness.

Risk Management

Directly related to the identification and analysis of risks relevant to the achievement of our objectives and the grounds for determining how such risks should be managed.

It also refers to the mechanisms required to identify and manage specific risks related to the changes that have an impact within and outside our organization.

Control Activities

All the actions and documentation directly related to control: policies, administrative instructions, guidelines, standardization and normalization of processes, disclosure and application of legislation and regulations, the comprehensive management framework, budget, allocation and segregation of duties, performance contracting, among others.

Information and communication

The mechanisms designed and

implemented to manage and communicate the information generated. This is carried out with integrity, availability, and confidentiality to all our stakeholders, allowing employees, managers, suppliers, and other collaborators to fulfill their responsibilities and objectives.

Monitoring

It is defined by all the activities that we apply internally and externally to supervise and evaluate the operation of our control system, among which the actions carried out by the internal and external audit function, the monitoring of our management instruments, the internal measurements and the evaluation of external control entities.

SCOPE OF THE CORPORATE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

Components of our corporate management system:

  • Scope of Quality Management System (QMS): Studies and designs of electrical and telecommunications infrastructure projects.
  • Asset Management System (AMS): The portfolio of assets of our Energy Transmission business unit, its ownership, and ISA’s affiliates throughout its life cycle.(Taken from the Asset Management manual)
  • Scope of the Occupational Health and Safety Management System (OHS-MS): All the activities carried out by our employees, contractors, and visitors in relation to this issue. The requirements of the standards applicable to our processes and activities, as well as the related documentation, have been consolidated in the archive. All these are requirements of our processes.
