This project will significantly increase the transportation capacity of the National Interconnected System (SIN), ensuring reliability, security of supply and resilience of the system in the face of increased energy demand. The substation will also enable the connection of future renewable energy projects, thus promoting the use of sustainable generation sources in the region and contributing to the acceleration of the energy transition.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The awarded project includes the design, procurement of supplies, construction, testing, commissioning, operation, and maintenance of the new substation and about 20 km of lines connecting it to the existing Bolivar &#8211; Toluviejo 220 kV line (now Bolivar &#8211; Pasacaballos &#8211; Toluviejo 220 kV).&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>&#8220;This project, in addition to being key to the electricity system, will be of great relevance in meeting the industrial demand of the area of influence.
