Through ISA CTEEP, ISA’s affiliate in Brazil, the Group has signed an agreement to acquire 100% of the shares of Piratininga-Bandeirantes Transmissora de Energia (PBTE).
\nThe company’s EBITDA margin is above 90%.
\nWith this acquisition, the ISA Group reaffirms its relevant position in the state of S\u00e3o Paulo. <\/p>\n
ISA CTEEP signed an agreement to acquire 100% of the shares of Piratininga- Bandeirantes Transmissora de Energia (PBTE) through the purchase of the shares previously owned by SF Energ\u00eda S.A. (93%) and Kavom Energ\u00eda (7%) . The price of each share is R$ 1.593 million, which is equivalent to approximately COP 1,1 trillion according to the exchange rate of November 23, 2020. PBTE owns a 30 kilometer (15 kilometers of double circuit) underground transmission line that connects two ISA CTEEP’s substations in the city of S\u00e3o Paulo. This concession was awarded by the Ag\u00eancia Nacional de Energia El\u00e9trica (ANEEL) in a public tender held in 2016. <\/p>\n
The completion of this transaction is subject to the terms and conditions inherent to this type of business, including the authorization by Brazilian government entities such as the Conselho Administrativo de Defesa da Concorr\u00eancia (CADE) and the ANEEL, among others.<\/p>\n
